Born in the Philippines and raised

in LA, I found my voice later in life

through digital expression. Since

2017, I knew I wanted to create.

Growing up, I often found myself caught

between two worlds: my aspirations to

make a difference in healthcare and a

budding curiosity for digital creativity.

While healthcare fulfills my desire to make

a tangible impact on people’s lives, content

creation gives me a platform to inspire.

Since 2017, I’ve known that creating

was more than just a fleeting interest;

it was a calling. I wasn’t entirely sure

where to begin or what it would look

like, but I felt a deep pull to share my

story and connect with others. That

year marked a new beginning for me.

In 2019, I decided to take up

YouTube as a fun little side hobby.

My channel "Wander With Mari"

began as a quiet little adventure

into the digital world.

Little did I know, that simple

decision would ignite a passion.

What started as a casual pastime

quickly became something more.

I discovered the joy of creating,

connecting, and expressing myself

in ways that felt both empowering

and exciting.

At the start, I didn’t have a set plan or niche- I was simply

creating whatever came to mind, eager to get my feet wet.

From 2020, I began expanding my presence beyond YouTube,

diving into platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and Twitch.

I gained more confidence in consistently creating. What

once felt uncertain began to feel purposeful and empowering.

It’s been a journey of growth,

and I’m excited to continue

evolving, one piece of the story

at a time.
